Mountain Weekly News ~
So if you are like me and you have a child that you are looking to get into skiing but you are fearing the costs of all the equipment that they are sure to grow out of in a season. Boots that fit as we all know are hard to find and for kids it is hard to spend the money because you know that you will just end up hauling them off to the local swap at the end of the year and buying new ones. Well Full Tilt just made it easier to get you little one skiing in boots that fit, perform, and are affordable too.
Enter the Full Tilt Growth Spurt, an expandable boot that grows with your child’s feet. This isn’t your typical kids rear entry boot that is slapped on the feet of every kid at the rental shop. This boot is designed after the same three piece design that the pros wear but is sized down for your future pro. An easy opening tongue makes it easy to get the foot into the boot so that your groms first experience isn’t trying to wrench his or her ankle into a ski boot.
Once in the boot the foot is hugged b a plush expandable liner that allows for comfortable ankle flex and support. The Growth Spurt is available in two sizes, small which accommodates foot sizes 18-21.5 and large that fits sizes 22-25.5. How you ask, well the shell has two pins in the heel that can be removed and allows the shell to expand to the desired foot size.
Two buckles keep the foot in place as the child makes their way down the slopes. The Growth Spurt is available in a few colors keeping the boys feeling like boys and the girls looking pretty. Retailing at $200.00 the Growth Spurt is well worth the cost, face it you would spend that much on a new boots over three seasons anyway.
